Hello Mr. Brown:
Thought you would like to see this
Sweet Spot for my 6.5 mm BRM. Your brass, 38.0 gr VV N160, Stoney Comparator
measurement of 2.399, .140 off lands.
Nosler 140 gr Accu-bond. The 3 shot group
measures .391 at the widest point minus (.264"=6.5mm) equals .127" center to
center. Didn't think I could beat the Amax and the Berger groups but I just
did. Amax best group is .172" center to center, Berger best group is .190". This
is what you build my friend, keep up the good work. Once again I will say thanks
for such good products.
-Thanks Again, Roger Brown (See Roger's Original Review, too!) |

| Additional Information: All of Roger's groups were shot at 100 yards, this is a .127" group shot at 100 yards. Bullet seating depth of .140" off the lands is correct. Roger tried depths from .130" to .150" off the lands and found the .140" seating to be the sweet spot for accuracy (BTW - He says he got the idea for the seating depth from our loaded 6.5mm BRM ammo, which also shoots with remarkable accuracy). | |
