Ordering and Shipping Information
Shipping Charges from the Chart- On regular mail orders to the contiguous US states, we collect shipping, handling, and insurance (SHI) charges based on the dollar amount of your order. Use the Shipping Chart on the right to figure the shipping charge for your order, or...Use Automatic Shopping Cart Shipping Calculation - The standard shipping chart charges are automatically calculated when you select "Standard Ground Shipping" during the shopping cart check out process. This is our simplest shipping calculation. Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day Shipping - These orders are accepted only via telephone so that items can be confirmed "in-stock" and accurate charges can be quoted. |

Lapua Bullets and
Brass - Use the EABCO Shipping Chart for
orders up to 400 pieces. Orders of 500+ pieces add $5
to the amount on the shipping chart for each 500
piece increment. For example, add $15 to the chart
for shipping 1500 bullets. Bullets and brass are
shipped via UPS ground to the lower 48 states. The $5
per 500 additional charge will not appear on your
shopping cart receipt... it will be added manually
when we process your order. VihtaVuori Powder Shipping - Order special shipping off the the charts that accompany our volume pricing. Then, select "Special Lapua Shipping" or "Special Vihtavuori Shipping" during the shopping cart check out process so that no additional shipping charges will be calculated. When checking out in the Shopping Cart, click "Riflescope UPS". Rifle Shipping Charge - We charge $20 each to ship rifles. This applies when we sell a whole rifle as well as when we do service, installation, French Gray, engraving, muzzle brake install, etc... The shipping for rifles is $20 each. Handgun Shipping Charge - Unfortunately, the only way we can ship complete handguns is by UPS and they require Next Day Air shipping. The minimum charge is $50. (Note: A TC frame without a barrel is not a complete handgun and can ship at regular ground rates (see chart above right). The shipping for complete handguns is minimum $50. Alaska and Hawaii: Our shippers use a variety of carriers to achieve the best shipping value for your order but the shipping charge doesn't fit easily into our automated shopping cart process. To expedite the quickest shipping to AK and HI on-line customers, additional shipping charges may be added without notice. If you need an exact quote of shipping charges to AK and HI, please call toll free 800-950-9088 to place your order with one of our telephone operators. Back-Orders - Normally, if we have to back order part of your purchase, we'll ship later at no additional shipping charge. Sending In Guns for Upgrade or Service - No FFL is required when sending your gun directly to us for upgrade or service. We are a licensed FFL facility and you may ship your gun to us legally. We recommend using UPS and insuring for replacement cost. Ship to the address above. We return the gun to the address you shipped from. Special Handgun Shipping Information: Shootable handguns require Next Day Air Shipping. Deactivated handguns such as Contender or Encore frames with no barrel or Ruger single action revolvers with no cylinder can be shipped by ground at our shipping chart rates. Ordering Custom Barrels or Sending Barrels In - Barrels you order can be shipped directly to you. This includes TC Encore and Contender barrels. Use UPS or Postal Services to send a barrel to us. |

Terms of
Sale - Prices, Specifications, and Terms May Change Without
Notice… Returns - Manufacturers do not allow us to offer free trials. Any purchase that you’ve mounted, installed, used, damaged, scratched, or soiled in any way is not returnable to EABCO for refund. Ammunition, ammunition components, gun stocks, and scopes that have been mounted are non-returnable for any reason. Do Not Send Defective Scopes to EABCO. Scope warrantee service is performed by the scope manufacturer. 10 Day Examination Period (no use or installation). If, within 10 days of receiving a non-custom catalog item you decide not to keep it, you can return it for a refund or credit of the purchase price less shipping. All returns must be in brand new, unblemished condition with original packaging and documentation. Sales are final after the 10 day period. Special Orders - Non-Catalog Items ordered especially for you are not returnable, regular shipping terms apply. Catalog Items Which Included Free Installation - There is a 10 day examination period. If, within 10 days of receiving a Free Installation item you decide not to keep it, you can return it for a refund or credit of the purchase price of the item less installation costs and shipping. Our regular shop rate for installations is $50/hr. Items which have been permanently modified by being installed are not returnable. Custom Work - Guns, barrels, finishing, engraving, or other custom shop work which has been specially ordered by you and made especially for you are guaranteed to function properly and have accuracy for one year (12 months) beginning at the shipping date. Prices do not include working up accurate handloads, teaching proper handload procedures, or test firing groups at the shooting range. If you require Accuracy Proof Testing, we can provide this service at a charge of $50 per hour. For a period of one (1) year after the shipping date, EABCO will replace or repair defective custom work at no charge. You pay only the shipping costs. This excludes damage caused by rough handling or misuse. Modifications done by non-EABCO gunsmiths will void this guarantee. Repairs to items modified by non-EABCO gunsmiths will be performed at our regular $50 per hour shop rate. Oversized Pivot Pins Void All Warrantees... Here's Why: The center line position and alignment of the TC Encore and Contender barrel pivot is critical to the headspace of the chamber and lockup of the barrel to the frame. When we machine the underlugs for our barrels, they are clamped squarely on an extremely precise CNC Milling Machine. The pivot pin centerline is located to within 10ths of a 1/1000th of an inch. The hole is "peck" drilled at a computer programmed and consistent rate to insure that it does not wander and goes in straight and true. The hole is then CNC machine reamed to final dimension with the centerline at the same location while the part is still clamped squarely on the CNC machine. We are sure that the Thompson Center Arms factory uses a similar and equally precise system for locating the centerline of this hole, though they produce these in much higher mass quantities than we do. In order to get our barrels to headspace and lock up properly, we had to get our barrel lugs AT LEAST as precise as the TC Factory and frankly, we were amazed at how close the TC Factory holds these dimensions. Our lug making system is as good or better than the TC factory simply because we produce fewer and can watch and check each one to make sure it comes out right. The bottom line is this: Anybody who thinks they can improve on this level of precision by HAND REAMING the pivot pin holes to fit oversized pivot pins is making a serious and potentially dangerous error. At the least, such modifications may ruin your gun and take away the barrel interchange ability that is part of the reason you bought your TC Encore or Contender in the first place. At the worst, it could affect the barrel to frame lock-up and headspace to a degree that will make your gun dangerous to shoot. We have instruments that can measure and detect whether the pivot pin hole has been modified to fit oversized pivot pins. There is no doubt about this. If you perform any modification to a barrel it will void all warrantees but this one is especially bad because it is not repairable... barrels and/or frames that have been modified to fit oversized pivot pins may still work okay, but they are not improved over original condition. And if they don't work okay, they are very expensive garbage. Don't be talked into messing around with oversized pivot pins. |
