Single Shot Follower... Why? - For best accuracy potential, bullet seating depth should be dictated by the length of your chamber, not your magazine. Our Benchrest Followers convert your bolt action rifle to single shot with a perfectly shaped loading tray. It aligns each cartridge for straight in, smooth chambering with no limits on bullet seating depth. There's also no gouging, kinking, or denting of your carefully prepared hand loads... Or, deforming of the bullet tip. Installation is Easy - Insert the Benchrest Follower in the magazine box from the bottom so that it will rest on top of the factory follower after closing the floor plate. Rifles with a blind magazine box or without a hinged floor plate require removing the barreled action from the stock... then putting it back together with the Benchrest Follower.

FOLLOWER MODEL APPLICABILITY
Remington 700 Short,  Fits all Remington 700's, 7's, 722's, 600's,chambered for small case head type cases ,such as 17 Remington, 222 Remington and 223 Remington.
Remington 700 Medium,  Fits all Remington models 7's, 700's, 722's, 600's and 660's chambered for short cartridges with standard case heads, such as the, 22-250, 243 Win, 6mm REM., 7mmx08, 308 Win.
Remington 700 SAUM,  Fits all Remington 700's chambered for the Remington Short Action Ultra Mag line of Cartridges 
Remington 700 Long,  Fits all Remington 700's and 721's chambered for long cartridges with either a standard or magnum case head, such as 25-06, 270 Win, 30-06 Sprg, 7mm Rem. Mag, 300 Win. Mag. , and 375 H&H Mag.
Remington 700 Ultra Mag,  Fits all Remington 700's chambered for the Remington Ultra Mag line of Cartridges 
Ruger 77 Short,   Fits Ruger 77 MK II 's chambered for 223 Remington.
Ruger 77 Medium # 1,  Fits all Ruger 77's and 77 MK II's chambered for the 22-250 Remington.
Ruger 77 Medium # 2,  Fits all regular Ruger 77's chambered for short cartridges with standard case heads such as 220 Swift, 243 Win, 6mm Rem, 7mm X 08 Rem and 308 Win.
Ruger 77 medium # 2 MK II,  Fits all Ruger 77 MK II 's chambered for the short cartridges with standard case heads such as 220 Swift, 243 Win and 308 Win.
Ruger 77 Long,  Fits all Ruger 77 's and 77 MK II 's chambered for the long and magnum cartridges such as 25-06 Rem, 30-06 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, 338 Win Mag. But not the very large rounds such as the 375 H & H or the 416 Rigby.
Savage Short,  Fits all Savage 10/110 series rifles chambered for the 223 Rem. Long or Short actions
