Pilot Diameter is the inside neck diameter AFTER full length sizing your brass. This will be slightly less than your bullet diameter. For example, use pilot #26 for a 6.5mm bullet. The bullet diameter is .264" but the inside case neck diameter is a slightly smaller .2580" after full length sizing. Pilot #26 is .2580".
