Hawke Deer PASS is a Point and Shoot System for Slugs... PASS is short for Point And Shoot System. The special PASS reticle (SR and MAP versions) is super fast for aiming properly at all hunting distances. You look through the scope, fit the deer between a set of brackets, and use the crosshair in the middle of the brackets to aim dead on at your deer. Flip-Open Lens Cover Information: This scope comes with Hawke Brand flip open lens covers. But if you prefer Butler Creek brand, the Eyepiece takes a #18 Flip Open cover. The Objective takes a #28 Flip Open cover.
