Hawke Sidewinder 30 Tactical 8.5-25x42mm Rifle Scope These Tactical Hawke Scopes are a derivative of the Hawke Sidewinder 30 series but they're not the same. Foremost among the differences are the reticles. Hawke developed a special "1/2 Mil Dot" reticle with markings between the dots. These 1/2 mildot markings lend themselves nicely to ballistic trajectory programming by the free Hawke Ballistic Reticle Calculator software. But a quick run down is this: Hawke Sidewinder 30 Tactical has a 30mm one piece tube construction for strength and broader adjustment range. It has a side focus parallax adjustment.
